Checked the weather stations at 3pm - not much happening, maybe a bit more than earlier. 10 Minutes later set off to coast, some big cloudy things ahead. Arrived at Hove to find sod all wind, but small waves
Rigged the 5.9m anyway, just to be ready if it picked up.
AT 3:40 put the wetsuit on, wind line now visible out to sea, but quickly moved in, so rapid launch, planing in the straps immediately, nice jump ramps. Some really fun down the line on small waves, freestyle board perfect for hunting out the peaky sections and riding out the flat bits. In the end it was dark and the sail was quite overpowered. All good.
